Atlantic Guesthouse

Atlantic Guesthouse is placed in an excellent location, namely in the heart of Targu-Mures, only minutes from the city centre, where you can find the main architectural symbols of the city.
Culture Palace is such a symbol, famous because of its Mirror Hall and stained glass which ornaments the building. Other two representative buildings for the municipality, in the proximity of Culture Palace are the Prefecture Palace of Targu Mures and the Town Hall Palace. In the opposite part of the Medieval Citadel market are located Apollo Palace and the National Theatre.

cornesti Placed at the highest altitude of the city, the Cornesti Plateau opens a panorama upon the town and Mures valley.
The main attraction point here is the Zoo, spread in five sectors:
- primates,
- tropical house,
- carnivores,
- herbivores
- birds.
The second in the country, concerning spread and variety of species, the Zoo is located at 488 m height, above the Black Sea and at 170 m above the town, surrounded by a large oak and hornbeam forest, named the Big Forest.
Nature and hiking lovers can follow here various mini – routes.

weekend Complex As the town is placed on the course of river Mures it enabled the construction of a leisure complex (known as the Weekend).
Inside the complex there are more pools for swimming and one for boat trips, which is linked directly to river Mures.

Here are placed a series of sports fields which allow practising sports like tennis, football, volleyball.

peninsula Festival Near the Weekend complex takes place the Peninsula Festival, one of the greatest festivals in Romania.

sovataStatiune The famous spa resort of Sovata, located at 60 Km distance. The lakes are famous both for their therapeutic effect and for the heliotherm phenomena.
In winter you can practice winter sports, Sovata has two ski slopes, one for the intermediate level and another one for children or beginners.

Local resorts Sangeorgiu de Mures, with salty, iodinated and chlorinated waters and Ideciul de Jos, with salty waters, only 11 Km away.

sighisoaraCetate Sighisoara, with the Medieval Citadel is only 54 km distance.
